New for 2009 Entry - BA Games Design.  This innovative new BA is a Joint Honours only but can be combined with Film and TV Studies, English, Creative Writing, Drama or Sonic Arts.

The School of Arts are offering BA Journalism (seeking NCTJ accreditation) and MA Journalism (NCTJ accredited) degrees plus MA International Journalism degrees for September 2009.

'Times Higher Education Awards'

The Digital Games programme at Brunel’s School of Arts has been shortlisted for the Times Higher Education Awards 2009 in the Excellence and Innovation in the Arts Category.  This is a significant achievement given the quality and number of entries (600 from more than 130 higher education institutions). The awards ceremony will take place on Thursday 15th October at the Grosvenor House Hotel in Park Lane. Staff representing the School and Brunel will be in attendance.

English at Brunel ranked Top 20 in Guardian University League Tables.

The Guardian published University League Tables in its Education Supplement on 12 May 2009.  The tables are intended as a guide for students. English at Brunel was ranked in the top 20 at number 19. Our average teaching score, as an index, is 72.9 (100 being the top).
