The Brunel Research Festival returns in May 2024 for a packed programme of over 50 activities, celebrating cutting-edge and challenge-led research at Brunel and beyond.

Showcasing the world-class research carried out by colleagues from across the University, the Festival is a celebration of the diverse local and global benefits of our research. Free and open to all.

14 May | The UK & US Presidential Elections 2024

A stimulating panel discussion of the UK and US elections in 2024, two of many elections taking place around the world this year

23 May | 'Country Walks Through Colonial Britain' with Prof Corinne Fowler

Focusing on the many connections between imperial wealth and British landscapes, this lecture explores how empire affected rural labour and country life

28 May | Ageing Research Showcase

15 May | B-STAR reach for the stars

Brunel Space Travel Applied Research Network (B-STAR) is a newly developed network consisting of academics and researchers from all three colleges at Brunel with interests in the design, engineering, biological impact, psychological, social and legal implications of our inclusive presence in Space.
