The teaching and support from the teaching team on the MA in Media and Public Relations were key to making the most of my program and degree. I asked questions often, visited their offices and took advantage of tutorials, and found they both Mike and Jo provided support and resources each step of the way. I just landed a job at FleishmanHillard, and my interviews and assessments drew heavily on knowing about media lists, the basics of press releases, and researching and developing pitches. I found that the campaign coursework in FM5602 (Building a PR Campaign) tied academic principles we’d learned all year to the practical work of agency practitioners.
