Tell us about your educational and/or career journey since you graduated from Brunel?
Attended an internship program at UB acrylic Malaysia. Followed by my own venture being a stockist and import for UB Acrylic Malaysia in India.
What does a typical day at work involve for you?
I manage the entire business operations by myself. My duties involve all necessary business operations like sales, procurement, accounting and marketing.
What’s been the highlight of your career journey so far?
Being able to build an enterprise and achieving a turnover of over 2.5 Million pounds annually all by myself in the first 4 years of operations.
How would you say your Brunel experience has helped you to get where you are today?
Brunel provided me with a entrepreneurial spirit which I could utilise to take business risk that led be to being able to commit to my own venture.
Why did you choose to study at Brunel and why would you recommend Brunel to others?
Multicultural campus and an excellent syllabus focusing on theoretical practical knowledge.
What is your best memory of studying here?
Definitely Friday night at Academy.
If you could give one piece of advice to current Brunel students, what would that be?
Take benefits of all the research facilities provided to us by the university. Grab as much knowledge as you can while it’s available during the course.
What would be your top tip or key advice for new graduates as they begin their career journey after leaving Brunel?
Do not overwhelm yourself by the competition around you. Good things take time and the best opportunities will always present to you by itself.
