Tell us about your career journey since you graduated?

Since graduating from Brunel, I started my own company called LatestFreeStuff.co.uk to help consumers find free samples on the internet. I realised that there was a gap in the market for consumers to order samples from top brands in the UK. The company started as an experiment from my bedroom but I quickly realised there was a high demand for consumers to try before they buy products and services. We then started the difficult journey of scaling and growing the amount of brands we work with. Today we now attract over 50,000 users to our website every month and have a following on social media of over 300,000 people.

The site has gone from strength to strength and we have even launched another brand called LatestDeals.co.uk which helps consumers find bargains and deals at their favourite shop. The site only launched last year and we have already grown to over 200,000 fans.

What’s been the highlight of your career so far?

The highlight of my career so far must be going to pitch to the multi-millionaire investors on the BBC show Dragons Den. Growing up it was always one of my favourite shows. I loved watching entrepreneurs pitch their idea to try and get investment. But it was really scary going through the process myself!

In the end the pitch for LatestFreeStuff went really well and the Dragons seemed to love the idea. I ended up getting 3 offers of investment which was just incredible and when it was broadcast it was even well received by the public. We had over 90,000 people visit the site a minute! It was just an incredible and surreal time that I look back at very fondly.
