Public Policy Masterclass and Storytelling for Policy Training
On Monday 20th May, the UK Government’s Open Innovation Team (OIT) will come to campus to deliver a policy masterclass and storytelling for public policy training. These sessions are linked to Brunel’s partnership with the OIT – a cross-government unit that matches academic research to the needs of different Government departments.
The Public Policy Masterclass is a half-day training session that gets you up to speed on the basics of government and policymaking, and how you can get involved. (10am – 1pm)
The Storytelling for Public Policy course is a half-day training session for those who have identified some of their own research with policy relevance to learn how to communicate that research for better policy and research impact. (1pm – 4pm).
***Places are limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis for the Masterclass and selected on the basis of a short statement for the storytelling training. Both courses are available to Brunel staff only.***
