In November we partnered with Chelsea FC Foundation to offer our students the opportunity to partake in a unique virtual entrepreneurial event.
Over 100 students signed up and their teams presented their solutions to the challenge of “how to engage with fans in a post-covid world". You can watch this short video here.
Students based their work on the Design-based learning model offered by our Design Factory London team which focuses on multi-disciplinary learning.
A big congratulations to the “Blue Team" for taking the top spot! The team consisted of; Katy Benyon (Human Resource Management MSc), Jeel Desai (Global Supply Chain Management MSc), Azim Raja (Civil and Environmental Engineering BEng) and Poojan Upadhyay (Business and Management BSc).
The winning concept was an inclusive animated TV series for children (and families) aged 6-12+ to get them interested in football, as a sport. The adventure-style series would aim to reach out to a new audience and build brand loyalty from a young age, whilst connecting with existing fans in a post-Covid world.
As a prize the winning team will receive a VIP tour of Stamford Bridge, Chelsea FC's home ground, and the opportunity to build a solution for a big brand, presenting their idea and gaining valuable feedback.
Congratulations Team Blue!
“It was fantastic to hold another successful event where students from Brunel University London were able to experience a live business challenge with the opportunity to present their exciting new ideas to a panel including representatives from Chelsea FC Foundation and LoveGunn, the standards were once again extremely high. The guest panel also enjoyed the unique opportunity to collaborate and learn with students on the same challenge. A big congratulation to everyone involved."
