Tracey has over 15 years experience in the marketing communications industry. She has a breadth of experience having worked both client-side (IBM, Lenovo) and agency-side (The Brooklyn Brothers, Ogilvy, Meteorite, One Voice Media & PR) and in the public sector for trade body, The IPA. Tracey’s career has given her experience in businesses of all shapes and sizes, from NFP, start-ups, to SME, through to multinational organisations. Her marketing experience also spans all disciplines including, integrated, advertising, CRM, digital, tech, content, media, data, PR and design.
Tracey is currently the Global Head of Brand for Earned-First Advertising agency, The Brooklyn Brothers, recently acquired by Interpublic Group PLC. She sits on the management team and is responsible for the agency’s reputation and growth. Within her first year at The Brooklyn Brothers, she has reputationally put the agency on the map, and has since been named as a Contagious Pioneer 2020 – recognising the boldest and bravest agencies on the planet. She has also been instrumental in winning new account such as First Direct, Photobox, Chelsea Football Club, as well as launching the agency’s diversity programme Night School in 2019 and the agency’s wellness programme.
Prior to that Tracey worked at Ogilvy (part of WPP PLC) for eight years in various marketing leadership positions (Managing Partner, Interim CMO). As part of the management team Tracey launched the ‘Client revitalisation Programme’ to improve client retention rate and profitability and during her tenure OgilvyOne won Campaign Agency of the Year for three consecutive years and featured at the top of the New Business League tables – during her time OgilvyOne revenues grew from £30m to £55m.
In previous roles, Tracey worked in a marketing and new business position at Meteorite, helping make the business an attractive purchase – which lead to IPG’s MRM buying the agency in 2011. Tracey also work client-side as Brand Manager at Lenovo and IBM. As part of the IBM PC Division, Tracey was a core part of the marketing team responsible for the rebranding of ThinkPad products when the division was bought by Chinese company Lenovo. Transitioning from a famous IBM brand to Lenovo and building the brand equity in the product brands. Other roles included New Business at trade body The Institute of Practitioners in Advertising and also account management role at start up marketing and PR agency One Voice Media & PR.
Tracey is an Executive in Residence for Brunel University, Trustee for Bloom, formally Co-Chair of IPA New Business and Marketing Group and founding member of Marketing Academy Inspire Conference. She graduated from Brunel University with a First-Class BSc Hons degree in Business Management and Marketing. And at home, Tracey is a… mum, wife, dog walker, windsurfer, runner, cyclist, SUPer, and participant of all things water-related.
