An Expert Workshop on International Arbitration' was held at Brunel Law School over the course of 18-19 October. The Workshop was conceived, organised and moderated by Dr Ylli Dautaj (Lecturer in Commercial Law at Brunel Law School), and it comprised 6 sessions in total.
The sessions were delivered by some of the finest arbitration scholars and practitioners, including Prof. Dr Kaj Hobér (Uppsala University), Assoc. Prof. Esmé Shirlow (The Australian National University) and Jan Kunstyr (Boies Schiller Flexner LLP)
Students at Brunel Law School had the opportunity to hear about the latest developments in the area of investment law and arbitration, with a particular focus on notions of 'investor' and 'investment', 'treaty interpretation' as well as on 'cross-examination' in international arbitration.
