Last week first and second year undergraduates from Law, Business and Accountancy came together in interdisciplinary teams to present their collaborative work to a panel of judges from Blake-Morgan (Lawyers) and PWC.
The students were incredibly impressive and the panel had a tough choice. Huge thanks to Tony Coyne (alumnus and partner at Blake-Morgan) and Chris Maw (Fellow of Brunel and senior partner at PWC, Uxbridge).
All the students who took part valued the experience of pitching to professionals and the networking session that followed.
“The competition taught me how to work efficiently, under pressure with a talented team. I learned to think critically to help create an in-depth presentation, and ultimately present it in front of many experts in law and business fields. I highly recommend students attend future events like this.”
Phongdecho Detdecho, Second Year, Law LLB
“Our task was to present as PwC and Blake Morgan in a scenario where Uber was a potential client. Following the competition we were able to network with some members from both PwC and Blake Morgan, which was really good as we received feedback and advice.”
Fernanda de Faria, First Year Law LLB
