Captain James Smith McPherson Hutton was a student at Borough Road College from 1938 to 1940. After graduation he joined the Royal Scots Fusiliers. On the 26^th October 1944, Captain Hutton went missing in Walcheran, The Netherlands. He is remembered at Groesbeek Memorial.
