Biography
Flying Officer Navigator Owen Edward Parry Newcater studied at Borough Road College from 1926 to 1929, where he was a club officer. It is not known where it worked after graduation but it is likely he taught then joined the Air Force when war was declared. ON 23rd April, 1944, Flying Officer Newcater and Pilot Officer McJennett took off from Preston Candover Hants. Soon after the plane lost control and crashed into nearby trees. Both occupants were killed. Flying Officer Newcater is buried at Brookwood Military Cemetery.
