Biography

Second Lieutenant Percy Ewart Kelly was the son of Robert Phillips and Katherine Kelly in Middlesex. He studied at Borough Road College for 2 years and gained a BA in 1911. He joined the Middlesex Regiment on 29 August 1914. On 26 April 1915, whilst in charge of a detachment escorting artillery at Ypres Kelly was killed, aged 23.
