Biography

Lieutenant Ronald Charles Lowe was the son of Mr C. E. and Mrs M. H. Lowe, born in Stoke-on-Trent. He spent two years at Borough Road College, graduating with a BA from London University in 1912. Lowe enlisted in the Inns of Court Officers Training Corps on 1 September 1914 and was commissioned into the 8th Battalion Liverpool Regiment, ‘The King’s’. He was wounded on Easter Monday, 9 April 1917 and died over his wounds on 18 August 1918, aged 28.
