Click and Collect
Our Click & Collect service is available for all Brunel students and staff to remotely request items from the shelves to be made available for them to collect at a later date.
Either watch the instructional video on this page (you can expand it to full screen) or continue reading to learn how to use the Click & Collect service.
To use this service simply log into your library account.
Use the catalogue to search for the item you want to reserve, eligible items for reservation will appear with a Click and Collect button.
Please check our FAQs for questions surrounding this service and other library services. Up to 6 item requests can be made via the Library’s catalogue. But be aware you cannot exceed the maximum limit for books on an account, 15. So please do not reserve more items than you can have on your account. Registered Disability & Dyslexia students have enhanced borrowing entitlements.
Items on the shelves in the library will be made available within 24hrs, items currently on loan will be recalled and we will notify you when they become available.
An email will be sent to the requester when the items are ready for collection with a 5 day window to come to the Library Help Desk to collect their items. Items will be checked out onto the requester's card so there's no need to use our self-service machines. Uncollected items will be returned to shelves.
