December 10th marks the 50th anniversary of the Library which was opened in 1973. To commemorate this landmark event we have created an exciting Archive exhibition showcasing the Libraries history from the building’s construction to the present day. This can be seen on the Ground and Third Floors. You can read more about the history and exhibition in the Archives news item here Your Library at 50 | Brunel University London.
Keep an eye out for our Instagram posts with information about the Library then and now, memories from Alumni and our Staff’s top picks for books that best embody each decade. We also have an article in The Herald and promotional material will be popping up around the library over the next two weeks so make sure to look out for that too.
