We are delighted to see that five of our Trailfinders Rugby Academy players have been selected by Wales and Scotland for their U20 Six Nations squads this week.
Included in the call ups are Morgan Veness – Hooker (Wales), Josh Taylor - Lock (Scotland), Olly Frostick - Tighthead Prop (Scotland) Jare Oguntibeju - Lock (Scotland) and Innes Hill – Backrow (Scotland.)
Speaking on the call ups Trailfinders Rugby Academy Head Coach Paddy Gill has shown his pleasure in hearing the news. “To have the players initially invited in to train with countries was great, but to see the guys selected for Under 20s Six Nations is a real honour for both them and us, and it shows how much their hard work has paid off. As an Academy it’s amazing to see those players coming through, developing nicely into junior Internationals.”
The U20s Six Nations kicks off on Friday 4th February in a triple-header of games which will see Wales travel to Ireland, Scotland take on England and France host Italy.
The 2022 Under-20s Six Nations Championship promises to be bigger than ever with all matches made available in the UK on BBC iPlayer.
