Brunel University of London is the UK’s most international university for the second year in a row, according to the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2025, released today.
The rankings also place Brunel the 6th most international university in the world, based on its ‘International Outlook’: its proportions of international staff and students and its international research collaboration.
Brunel again shares these spots with Queen’s University Belfast, with Imperial College London joining them for a three-way tie.
The annual THE World University Rankings rate research-intensive universities from around the globe across five measures – International Outlook, Citations, Teaching, Research and Industry Income – together with an overall score that combines all the measures.
Brunel’s overall score means it’s ranked equal 39th in the UK and in the 351–400 bracket globally.
