The Entrepreneur Hub was proud to attend to support Lauren, one of seven finalists on 20 November 2019 at the Tata Varsity Pitch Competition Grand Final, powered by NACUE and sponsored by Tata Ltd. Taking place at the British Library, Lauren pitched her business idea ‘Cosi Care’ in front of an esteemed panel of judges and won £15,000 equity free funding and a national title.
Cosi Care focuses on creating products that help families manage skin disease. Eczema affects 1 in 5 children, 15 million suffer in the UK and this staggering figure has tripled in the last 3 decades. Cosi Care has created the first hand-held device that offers instant relief to a child in pain, her patented technology combines instant cold with a satisfying texture, which safely kills the itch sensation.
