Little Journey, a cutting-edge HealthTech business that is revolutionising the way paediatric care is delivered by providing individualised psychological support, has revealed that they have recently secured an astounding £6 million in funding to continue their journey.
Brunel graduate entrepreneur Sophie Copley co-founded an app supporting children through medical procedures. The platform, which has content in 20 languages and is already utilised in more than 100 hospitals across 11 countries, supports children through various procedures including MRI, mental health assessments, and blood tests.
Sophie graduated from Brunel back in 2017 after studying BSc Product Design and has since excelled in her entrepreneurial journey.
The funding will be used to scale Little Journey’s operations globally, focusing on the US healthcare market. With early adopters already in place, Little Journey aims to continue expansion into this market to extend its transformative support to more children and families worldwide.
“We’re ready to take our product capabilities to the next level. Little Journey already tailors support based on age, language, procedure, and trial protocol. With this Series A funding, we will enhance our data capabilities and further globalise our offering, enabling a data-driven, personalised model of care in paediatrics. This will drive impact for our growing international customer base in a patient-centric way. By empowering families with the right knowledge and resources at the right time, we believe we can help build a brighter, healthier future for all children across the globe.” Sophie Copley, Co-founder & CPO.
