Unlocking the power of waste, WASE is a social enterprise that focuses on developing innovative technologies for sustainable water treatment, energy production and storage. Globally, 80% of wastewater is discharged untreated into the environment whilst we simultaneously generate 1.6 billion tonnes of food waste per year. By collaborating with manufacturers to transform their inevitable waste into bioenergy, reusable water, and agricultural inputs, WASE is positioned to provide the fuel of the future.

Thomas shares “We’re seeing a future of Waste-to-Energy that maximises economic and environmental benefits for all players involved, and we aim to play a major part in this transition by becoming leaders in the biogas market. Extantia and ENGIE, who deeply understand this sector, and all the investors supporting us in this round, will be invaluable resources to help us achieve this.”

We are delighted to continue following WASE's journey!
