Venture Competition Finals 2019
The Brunel Venture Competition is an annual competition open to all Brunel students and recent graduates, and is run by the Innovation Hub, part of the Professional Development Centre. The competition provides an opportunity for students interested in entrepreneurship to kick-start their business or take it to the next level. There's lots of support available throughout the process including workshops and events to help students with their business model, pitching and to help fine tune their applications.
This year the Innovation Hub selected nine finalists out of over 50 applicants to pitch their business idea in the Venture Competition Pitching Finals. On Wednesday 6 March, nine budding entrepreneurs pitched their innovative idea to a panel of experts competing to win a share of £10,000 which is generously provided by the Brunel Alumni fund and Santander Universities. After a 10 minute pitch and a 15 minute question and answer session with the panel, three finalists were chosen as our winners for 2019.
