It was a fantastic honour to attend the Triple E Awards on behalf of Professor Ronan McCarthy from Brunel University London. Professor McCarthy's innovative approach in integrating entrepreneurship into the biosciences was recognised, and it was truly inspiring to witness his work celebrated on such a global stage.
The ACEEU Triple E Awards bring together some of the most forward-thinking individuals and institutions in higher education. It was incredibly insightful to learn about the entrepreneurship initiatives taking place across Europe and Africa, with universities actively fostering change and driving innovation in their respective regions. Being surrounded by such a diverse and passionate group of professionals was a reminder of the transformative power of education when combined with entrepreneurial spirit.
Representing Brunel University London and showcasing the groundbreaking work happening in the biosciences department was a privilege. Professor McCarthy’s dedication to empowering students with entrepreneurial skills alongside their scientific education truly sets the standard for modern higher education.
Congratulations to all the finalists, and I look forward to seeing how these initiatives will continue to shape the future of entrepreneurship education.
