The majority of planned care, like day case, orthopaedic surgery and rehabilitation services, is provided at Ashford Hospital, with more complex medical and surgical care and emergency services at St. Peter’s Hospital.
Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:
In this role, you will support the effective functioning of the Audiology department and enhance the overall experience for patients. As an Audiology Assistant, you will acquire skills such as communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and customer service.
Typical duties include:
- Assisting with simple questions and providing information about audiology services
- Assisting with hearing aid queries, including basic troubleshooting
- Supporting administrative tasks within the Audiology department
- Providing information to patients about hearing aid usage and care
Please note, this organisation requires a CV, a minimum 6 months commitment for 4 hours per week as well as two references and a DBS check (fully funded).
