Sport in Mind is a charity dedicated to improving the lives and well-being of people with mental health issues through physical activity. The organisation provides sports programmes that designed by people with personal experience of mental health issues to aid the recovery of people across the community, ensuring a better quality of long-term life.

Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:

In this role, you will provide support at Sport in Mind events. As an Events Volunteer, you will develop your organisational skills and your confidence in interacting with a variety of people.

Typical duties include:

  • Welcoming the public to events
  • Facilitating games, including by playing yourself or taking score
  • Setting up and tidying up for events
  • Marshalling events in a variety of settings

Please note, the organization requires that you to commit to a minimum of 3 months.
