Details of the Charity:

Trinity Homeless is a charity operating more than 50 supported accommodation homes in Hillingdon and Slough communities. The organisation is committed to supporting 150 families who have escaped the challenges of war and poverty, offering crucial assistance for homelessness and promoting independence. 

Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:

In this role, you will contribute to the upkeep and enhancement of the expansive gardens at Olympic House. As a Garden Volunteer, you will have the opportunity to cultivate a sense of community and transform outdoor spaces, developing gardening skills, fostering creativity, and engaging with residents.

Typical duties include:

  • Assisting in mowing the lawns and revitalising the gardens
  • Sharing with residents various gardening skills, from pruning to woodcraft
  • Performing tasks during daylight hours ensuring the safety and efficiency of the work
  • Collaborating with teams of up to 15 volunteers to achieve common garden-related goals 

Please note, the organisation would like you to commit to a minimum of 3 months.
