The organisation actively engages in initiatives to assist immigrants from Afghanistan, facilitating their transition and integration into their new communities.
Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:
In this role, you will provide administrative and operational support to the fundraising team, playing a crucial role in securing funding to the organisation`s initiatives. As a Fundraising assistant, you will develop transferable skills such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving and leadership.
Typical duties include:
- Conducting research and assessing the the eligibility criteria to identify potential grant opportunities suitable for FAF's initiatives
- Collaborating with team members to gather necessary information and data for grant applications
- Writing compelling grant proposals tailored to the requirements of each funding opportunity
- Submitting grant applications within deadlines and following up on progress as needed
Please note, the organisation would like you to commit to a minimum of 3 months.
