MyHealth Hillingdon - Digital Communications Coordinator

MyHealth Hillingdon is a charity offering education and empowerment programmes to help those living with long-term conditions and other health issues, both physically and mentally. The organisation ensures that the residents of Hillingdon can access high-quality, evidence-based care services by offering workshops facilitated by health professionals and co-produced with service users and carers, providers, local authorities, community, and voluntary sector groups.

Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:

In this role, you will be working across multiple channels of communication and engaging with external/internal stakeholders looking for new ways to help the programme grow its client base.  As a Digital Communication Coordinator Volunteer, you will learn a set of skills in communications and marketing such as strategic communication, writing and editing, verbal communication, and media relations.

Typical duties include:

  • Assisting with marketing strategies, planning and scheduling social media posts
  • Producing a variety of social media and marketing content
  • Maintaining an active and engaging presence online, responding to media inquiries in a timely manner
  • Supporting external stakeholders in the promotion of MyHealth program

Please note, the organisation would like you to commit to a minimum of 3 months.
