KEEN London - Volunteer Coach

Details of the Charity:

Keen is a charity dedicated to providing free games and activity sessions to disabled children. The organisation provides fun, tailored support to over a hundred children with additional needs, improving young people’s well-being and personal, social and emotional development. 

Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:

In this role, you will provide one-to-one support to a disabled child to help them access all of the activities on offer. As a volunteer coach, you will develop your communication skills and work with a variety of people.

Typical duties include: 

  • Helping service coordinators develop goals for attendees to track their progress
  • Working with service coordinators and fellow coaches to come up with new games, develop resources, and plan activities
  • Joining in the activities
  • Attending volunteer social events to meet other coaches

Please note, the organisation requires that you to commit to a minimum of at least 2 sessions a month for 6 months.
