Compass Theatre - Volunteer Bar Person

Details of the Charity:

The Compass Theatre provides residents of the London Borough of Hillingdon with subsidized culture and arts spaces and venues, for producers of public art activity which is for the artistic or educational benefit of Hillingdon residents, on a non-profit basis.

Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:

In this role, you will assist with the operation and management of the bar area at the theatre providing costume services, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring the bar is functioning smoothly. As a Volunteer bar person, you will enhance a set of skills such as customer service, better beverage knowledge, and working under pressure.

Typical duties include:

  • Greeting customers and taking their drink orders, including alcoholic beverages
  • Preparing and serving drinks to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Keeping the bar area clean and organised
  • Monitoring beverage stock levels and re-stocking supplies

Please note, the organisation would like you to commit to a minimum of 3 months.
