Adoption UK is a charity dedicated to supporting children and families who cannot live with their birth parents. The organisation provides a variety of services, including support groups, training, and advocacy support to adoptive families, ensuring that children who cannot live with their birth parents can thrive in life.
Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:
In this role, you will plan and run a variety of engaging events in Hillingdon to raise funds for Adoption UK. As an Event Coordinator, you will have an opportunity to develop your organisational skills and learn more about events management in a real-world setting.
Typical duties include:
- Planning and managing events, organising everything from themes to venues, ticket prices to activities
- Working with the fundraiser to ensure the maximum funds can be raised for Adoption UK
- Collaborating with the marketing team to spread the word about your events
- Negotiating with suppliers and managing budgets to keep costs low and make the event profitable
Please note, the organisation requires that you to commit to a minimum of 3 months.
