RollaDome All Skate - Volunteer Assistant Coach

Details of the Charity:

RollaDome All Skate is a charity committed to promoting physical, social, and emotional well-being for children and young people in particularly those from disadvantaged and marginalised groups. The organisation delivers roller sports programmes, education and training opportunities, community events, and Young Leader and Volunteer programs.

Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:

In this role, you will plan and run effective sessions for skill development. As an assistant coach, you will develop teaching skills across a range of age groups and help to maintain a positive image for roller sports.

Typical duties include:

  • Assess participants and design developmental plans for individuals
  • Utilise technical and tactical methods to develop participants and groups
  • Develop and execute fun group and individual sessions
  • Use a variety of teaching methods

Please note, the organisation would like you to commit to a minimum of 3 months. A DBS is ideal, but not necessary.
