Worldwrite is a charity providing access to gear and tuition to individuals from across the world and around the corner that have something new to say. The organisation promotes crafted well-shot programmes that push boundaries, question the way the world is, and encourage a global outlook, critical understanding, and aspirations for the best for all.
Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:
In this role, you will discuss, plan, vote on, and work in crews for change-making programmes, shows, or short films. As a Media-Maker Volunteer, you will gain hands-on experience in media production, learn how to craft compelling narratives and stories, while improving your teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Typical duties include:
- Facilitating training sessions and managing logistics for on-location shooting
- Planning and coordinating fundraising events, ensuring a smooth experience for participants
- Promoting events to generate interest and participation through marketing and outreach
- Providing ongoing mentorship and support to interns throughout their internships
Please note, the organisation would like you to commit to a minimum of 3 months.
