Summary

I am a Doctoral Researcher in the Environmental Sciences department. My research focuses on the impact PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances), also known as forever chemicals, have on the metabolism of aquatic macroinvertebrates. I am a part of the London NERC Doctoral Training Partnership cohort 10, who provide the funding for my research. Before starting my PhD at Brunel in October of 2023, I completed my Master's research project here, as a visiting researcher, working on some initial analysis of PFAS. I have completed an MSc in Forensic Science at King's College London and a BSc in Forensic Science at the University of Central Florida.
