Launched in 2024, this new research user group at Brunel University London brings together young people (aged 18 to 25) from our local communities in West London and beyond. The members of the group work with researchers from the University to develop new research that matters to them and help solve complex challenges that face today’s youth. The members of the group get directly involved in all aspects of research and innovation. They are invited by Brunel staff to help co-create new research ideas, and contribute to existing community-based research projects as valued participants.
The Brunel Youth Action Group is a dynamic community that works in partnership with youth, listening to their concerns and perspectives to co-design research projects that are innovative, ambitious and challenge-led. It acts as a bridge between Brunel researchers and young people, while also carving a space for greater networking and collaboration among Brunel academics interested in youth-focused research.
If you are a young person aged between 18 and 25 and based in London, please consider joining our community of young people and get involved in research that matters to today’s youth. More information about joining the Group can be found on the website. If you are a Brunel-based researcher interested in working with the Group, please get in touch!
