“The face behind the man’s name” is the campaign’s tagline which makes the audience empathise with the story. Each of the sisters: Emily, Anne and Charlotte published under masculine names, and the tagline emphasises the struggles women had to face during the Victorian era.
The campaign attempts to evaluate their contributions towards achieving women’s rights in English history.
