MODE is an innovative service which aims to revolutionise the in-store fashion retail experience, by making it more efficient, enjoyable and personal for both customers and employees.
Product labels are fitted with an NFC tag, encoded with a unique identification number. Users scan the product’s label with their phone, allowing the NFC tag to be read, which sends the product information to the user’s mobile. MODE allows users to view available sizes and colours directly from their mobile phone. Users can create a wardrobe of items and send it to a changing room, where their selections will be waiting for them. Users can then request an alternative size or colourway directly from the changing room, using a separate interface within the changing room.
