These online courses will introduce you to the standard editing interface of Brunel's content management system (CMS), Contensis. Contensis is designed to allow non-technical users to quickly create, edit and publish pages on the University website. If you would like to be an editor or a contributor to webpages you will need to complete;
Who should complete it?
Staff responsible for maintaining webpages on the external website, www.brunel.ac.uk and staff who are responsible for updating webpages or writing content for brunel.ac.uk, as well as anyone who wants to improve their writing for the web skills. There is a basics concepts of a CMS course to help you get started, it covers; Jargon, What is a CMS? What is user experience? What is a responsive design? What is search engine optimisation?.
