Accessible Chair Yoga CIC |
Project: We have
been able to offer our services with success on a small scale and are keen to
extend our offerings to benefit more people. Currently our key business
challenge is developing a financial forecasting model for bringing yoga into
the care home market that is viable, scalable, and sustainable. The care home
market is highly fragmented and under-resourced in terms of funding and
staff, so creativity in coming up with potential solutions is vital. We would
like to use this financial forecasting model to help us evaluate different
options, which will allow us to plan and set priorities for the best way(s)
forward in the short, medium, and long terms. Create a financial forecasting model for one year, five years, and ten
years that looks at: various scenarios for delivering our services, potential
funding sources, projected costs and budgets, and resource allocation |
We are
dedicated to improving quality of life through yoga and making it accessible
to everyone, regardless of age, ability, or limiting health condition. We
provide chair yoga as a safe form of exercise, we train teachers to teach
this specialist yoga, and we sponsor research into yoga’s effectiveness in
the social care sector. Our
mission is to bring yoga into every care home in the UK (and beyond). Through
pilot studies and research, we have shown that yoga improves health and
wellness for care home residents, and our passion is to bring the wonderful
benefits of yoga - purposeful breathing and movement, drug-free stress
management, and mindful meditation - to some of the most vulnerable people in
our society. Our high quality training is known worldwide as the premier chair yoga
teacher training, and we work closely with its American creator, Lakshmi
Voelker – we are co-authoring a book on chair yoga to be published by
Shambhala Press in 2023. We also work in partnership with The Minded
Institute, the premier yoga therapy training in the UK and Europe, to promote
chair and accessible yoga to yoga teachers, healthcare professionals, and
others. |

respectful and making friends irrespective of your loyalty to a team. Our
problem in rugby is that we compete with so many different sports for the
attention and participation of children and also there isn’t much educational
material for parents to teach their children about rugby. Hence why I created
and illustrated My First Rugby Book. Project objectives and potential outcomes 1. Devise 3 options for a suitable logo that
matches our brand values. 2. Research best SEO terms for US and UK markets
to attract rugby loving parents or parents whose children want to start
playing rugby 3. Develop a 60 second video ad that can be used
on Instagram and Facebook 4.Create
a 60 second video introducing the creator & the book to parents for use
on website |
While
everyone loves the name My First Rugby Book, and finds Rugby Books 4 Kids as
an appropriate name for the business, I have struggled with how to brand
Rugby Books 4 Kids visually across platforms, in terms of a logo, banners
etc. I need to rework my website too to make it more effective commercially. 2 Main
strategies need to be thought of: 1.
Strategy to attract parents / adults to buy the books for children on Amazon
and my website 2.
Strategy to attract local clubs and premiership clubs to commission a
customised version of My First Rugby book for their club. |

JUUBIX |
Project description: The aim of this project is to conduct A/B user
testing amongst Brunel’s subject matter departments by carrying out a
controlled experiment, in which to assess user's
behavior, understand user engagement and
satisfaction of JUUBIX solution and what features should be added or
removed from the product. Developing an operational strategy using
A/B testing to make user experiences more successful and as a way to
streamline our services. The project will conduct complex experiments on
subjects such as network effects when
users are offline, how online services affect user actions, and how users
influence one another. The data from A/B tests will need to be evaluated.
This includes data from engineers, marketers, designers, software engineers,
and entrepreneurs. A/B testing is claimed by some to be a change
in philosophy and business-strategy in certain niches, though the approach is
identical to a between-subjects
design, which is commonly used in a variety of research traditions. A/B
testing as a philosophy of web development brings the field into line with a
broader movement toward evidence-based practice. The
benefits of A/B testing are considered to be that it can be performed
continuously on almost anything, especially since most marketing automation
software now typically comes with the ability to run A/B tests on an ongoing
basis. The project outcome is to rely on the data
from A/B tests, which will allow JUUBIX to understand growth, increase
revenue, and optimize customer satisfaction. Objectives and potential outcomes: TESTING - Multivariate
testing or multinomial testing
is similar to A/B testing, but may test more than two versions at the same
time or use more controls. Simple A/B tests are not valid for observational, quasi-experimental or
other non-experimental
situations - commonplace with survey data, offline data, and other, more
complex phenomena. EVALUATE - Test changes before rolling
them out across JUUBIX products. Learn what actually improves performance.
Run multivariate tests, multi-armed bandits, A/B/n tests, backed by data
science. OPTIMISATION - Set up
tests with Susan, Founder, measure with events and optimize for the metrics
that matter the most to JUUBIX. CONVERSION - Convert
more of JUUBIX traffic into real world sales and conversions using
experimentation. Use personalisation to show 1:1 custom touchpoints using
data from JUUBIX website. |

Project Title: Digital Marketing and Social
Media Strategy development and integration plan Project description: Vu3D is looking to increase its presence within social networks and
web, with a plan of action. The aim of the project is to ideate, develop and
implement a social media and web strategy push, to increase the visibility of
the company in specific social circles. We aim to target corporates in
specific sectors such as retail, hospitality, exhibition industry. We can provide materials and content to be used in content creation,
provide a description of what sort of content is required for which platform
(Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, web). It is expected that these
media materials will be curated, for example the editing of pictures/videos
and other content to suit the direction of strategic choices. It is expected that Vu3Ds collaboration with the Brunel University
will increase their knowledge and capabilities around the subject being
researched into through this formal knowledge transfer activity. Expectations
also include the development of a tool/framework to enable Vu3D continually
deliver their Value Propositions to their specified customer segments. We
also expect that, with brand awareness, we will gain new customers and
increase sales in the mid-to long term. Objectives and potential outcomes: For most activities, it is expected that the student will engage in
some ‘knowledge transfer’, which involves engaging with Vu3D Founder to
explain what is being done, how and why certain steps are being taken in the
following activities Research: build ideation discussions and results around target groups
and using specific tools and frameworks determine how best to reach them via
digital means (digital marketing and social media) Definition: Using outcomes from initial research/ideation activities,
jointly develop (with company Founder) create marketing and social media
strategies Exploit: implement and roll out agreed marketing and social media
plans Evaluate: test, document, iterate tools from exploitation stage to

Wool and Black Company Ltd |
Project Title: Tophe Trading Company is a subsidiary and trading arm of Wool and
Black Company Ltd. The product idea is titled: Tophe 2X Vacuum Flask - (Tophe Tea/Coffee
Flask) Should the product launch and become successful commercially, we
intend to make it a stand alone company. The current arrangement was based on the advice of our
accountants. Project Description: The project is to develop a vacuum flask that would allow for the
users to make a fresh and an instant brew of their favourite beverage. Most current vacuum flask
designs are just able to hold hot water or a pre-made beverage of a particular kind. This limits the
choice of two friends and/or partner who would prefer to share an alternative brew. Even when both
parties share the same taste, the beverage may not be as fresh at the time they would wish to
enjoy their drink. The idea is to design a flask that would hold hot water with
compartments that would house other accessories like a little stirrer, tea bags, loose coffee, sugar and
milk. The flask would be designed with indentations on the vacuum vessel. The holding compartments would
also be designed to match these indentations and flush on attachment to the whole. Making
the compartments detachable would allow for easy care and wash. Also, to allow for the
milk section to be refrigerated as at when required. The first design model would have a capacity of about 750ml with two
cups. Depending on the design, the cups could either be located at the top or bottom of the
vessel, or spread across both ends. The base of the flask would have a ‘false bottom’ wherein a
compartment for sugar, coffee and tea bags would be inserted. This ‘false base’ could be
‘screwed-on’ or push-in/pull-out operated. The product will have a thermal and waterproof casing. Objectives: Our main objective is to assemble a team of students that are able to
contribute positively in creating a final product design that would be ready for the market
launch. 2. We also intend to conduct further market research and analysis on
the product. 3. Conduct a second worldwide patient search on both the design and
utility function of the product 4. Assemble a focus group and data of the potential customers. 5. Final Design and Branding of the product. (Criterical product
analysis pre-launch) 6. 3D Rendering, photorealistic design and prototyping. 7. Create marketing awareness for the product launch. 8. Sustainable production and production opinions Outcomes: 1. To identify a focus group and build a database of potential
customers. 2. Identify market dynamics and appetite for the brand through market
research 3. Identify the right approach to create awareness for the brand 4. Create multiple channels of communicating the brand through social
media handles. 5. Respond to the market research and worldwide patient search report
by improving on the final design. 6. Adapt the contemporary design palate favoured by the market
research - (colour and ergonomics). 7. Identify the right packaging and suitable cover branding. 8. Identify suitable materials, parts and accessories. 9. Identify production cost, quality control and product
sustainability. 10. Overview of the legal, patent, IP, after sales customer care
requirements |

Project Title :
CogiGames - Home VR rehabilitation platform Project description: Our platform, CogiGames Home offers virtual reality
tele-rehabilitation for stroke survivors (in their own home) that is used
in-between visits to physiotherapists to help patients who are discharged
from hospital care to restore limb movement more quickly and effectively, and
at lower cost. Leveraging recent advances in non-invasive consumer-grade
electroencephalogram (EEG) headsets and our own proprietary machine learning
algorithms, CogiGames incorporates a brain-computer interface (BCI) that
allows users to see mentally simulated (thought activated) limb movements
represented as real movements in a virtual reality (VR) environment. In this low stress VR environment, patients use a combination of real
and merely imagined movements to play entertaining online games that provide
them with visual feedback and motivation that help them to effectively
re-train the neural connections needed for limb movement. The platform sets out new data driven opportunities to address the
variability in stroke patient conditions and the different types of required
rehabilitation exercises. It achieves this by working with physiotherapists
to design and prescribe supporting games that work with different movements,
while journaling key performance measures. These support both users and
professionals by helping them to assess recovery progress remotely. The
resulting data will help guide new patients toward activities that have been
more effective, and drive further research leveraging brain wave signals for
predictive outcomes. Project objectives and potential outcomes: We need to create a comprehensive business plan that includes the
followings: 1. Draft an executive summary. 2. Describe the new company. 3. Perform a market analysis. 4. Outline the management and organization. 5. List the products and services. 6.
List competitive advantages 7.
Perform customer segmentation. 8.

JUUBIX |
Project Title: No barriers to opportunities Project description: The aim of this project is to conduct automated tests, to achieve better
software quality, and be able to successfully maintain a large database
system, in relation to distributed ones. By taking regular optimisation, this
will increase JUUBIX’s software development and decreases blockers. The AI
and machine learning in software testing will deliver better and more
effective automation, instead of repeating and refining testing. These software
testing methods should
include AI and Deep Learning algorithms. With the help of machine learning
algorithms, AI systems can automatically analyze JUUBIX data and uncover
hidden trends, patterns, and insights that can be used to make
better-informed decisions. AI automates report generation and makes data
easy-to-understand by using Natural Language Generation. The project outcome is to use AI systems
combining large sets of data with intelligent, iterative processing
algorithms to learn from patterns and features in the data that they analyze.
Each time an AI system runs a round of data processing, it tests and measures
its own performance and develops additional expertise. Project objectives and potential outcomes: DETECTION – will be used to
automatically index the JUUBIX software after each PR crash has been verified
so that test engineers can focus on more valuable tests. This lets engineers
accomplish more critical tests, such as automating memory leak detection
(iOS) or troubleshooting JNI integration (Android) STATIC REVIEW – To
carry out symbolic AI is a decision-making tactic that employs rules. By
creating a rules-based expert system the calculation was not as affordable in
a cloud-based commodity modelling. Review will include leveraging symbolic AI
to perform code review, which adheres to good coding practices but also
overcomes the shortcomings of contamination analysis to extract potential
attack vectors in the code. COMPUTATION strategy in JUUBIX

determine which of the key user flows should be examined. Then create test
code to produce a comprehensive test suite automatically. MONITORING to apply log aggregation and analysis.

Rebel
Alchemy |
Project description: To provide measurable and quantifiable proof that Energy Healing is a
tangible treatment, capable of remediating serious illness. In essence, Energy Healing uses the same principle as BCI technology –
thought projection to induce a desired outcome i.e. if someone is suffering
from cancer, my intention will be to shrink/eradicate all cancer cells and
tumours whilst channelling energy into the Chakra
system simultaneously. Minimal
touch is used and as such, the treatment can also be performed remotely
treating clients located anywhere in the world. Objectives: This would involve measuring my
energetic output whilst performing a healing session on a recipient. I presume this would entail
connecting me up to an EEG (or relevant Brain Computer Interface kit), whilst
I perform a healing session and recording what brain waves/or my body emits -
as well as recording the energetic change in the recipient, and if possible,
the energetic transfer that happens between the two of us. Potential Outcomes: To create tech that can replicate the healing frequencies that are
emitted during the healing process, thus (in some scenarios), being able to
replace medicines and/or surgery; as
well as detecting any malfunction in the 7 Major Chakras (energetic centres). This means incubated disease can be identified (and potentially
effaced), before it has the opportunity to present in the physical body. |
Rebel Alchemy is an alternative healthcare practice specialising in
Energy Healing (similar to Reiki). Energy Healing is the oldest form of medicine and can be used to treat
all ailments that one would normally see their Doctor for, be it physical -psychological
or emotional. As it addresses the root cause of disease, it has the capacity to
reverse or suppress many illnesses in as little as 2-5 sessions. |

youHQ |
Project title: Using
digital technology to support wellbeing in schools Project description: youHQ
collects personal and sensitive data from students. We’re looking for ways we
can apply this information to a) help build a smarter tool to provide instant
and relevant support and resources to individual students, b) help us to
recognise patterns and predict more accurately indicators of personal crisis,
and c) help us understand the best way to manage mental health in a country
where local resources are under-funded and in short supply. Our
ultimate goal is to reduce the incidence of mental health disorders (at a
drastic level suicide) in schools and become an ‘edruptor’ putting wellbeing
and personal development as a priority. Objectives and potential outcomes: - Use of AI to create a more bespoke resource
library, triangulate data to quickly show students most at risk (mood, who-5,
tags, what they're watching) - Ability to integrate with modern wearables (WHOOP, Fitbit) to
scrape sleep, heart and activity data and to combine this with current youHQ
data to bridge the gap between mental and physical health - Creation of in-app notifications to alert staff and students to
the above more effectively |
youHQ, owned by start-up
‘Life on Time Ltd’, is a wellbeing monitoring and personal development
platform for schools that aims to highlight those students in need and
inspire every person in the school community to succeed. Using the youHQ
‘APPIA’ ☺ model, the whole school SaaS tool can be described as
follows: A awareness. When students log in to
the platform, they are encouraged to self-reflect and share how they are
feeling via simple mood emoji check in and the globally recognised WHO-5
wellbeing survey. This information is visible to the individual student,
assigned tutor and any other chosen pastoral lead staff. They are also
encouraged to contextualise an ‘attributor’ (personal or school related
tag) towards this feeling. This allows
the student the chance to raise their emotional intelligence as well as build
a trusting relationship with their tutor. Access to information is dependent
on the tutors’ role and differs for the tutor, designated leadership team
(DSL), and school leadership team. Reports can be split by student, class,
year groups or the entire school. P prevention We provide wellbeing and
CBT-style resources that enhance long-term mental health conditioning and
personal development. Resource areas include resilience, self-help, anxiety,
and much more. Resources are updated centrally via youHQ as well as
independently managed by the school. The platform has a dedicated support
page where students can reach out at anytime if they need it. Our automated
staff dashboard can be tailored to individual staff to alert them to any
students in need. P positive habits As well as promoting the
habit of self check ins, we help individuals identify what matters most in
their lives using values-based goal setting. We teach them how to set actions
that ladder up to SMART goals that link to their personal values, so that
they can set a course towards living their own version of success and
happiness. At every turn on the platform, students are rewarded with GOALd,
our positivity currency, that drives motivation and platform engagement, thus
establishing positive habits. I intervention We create easy-to-read
dashboards and ‘touch of the button’ reports that flag the students/teachers
with indicators of poor mood and wellbeing scores that allow the creation of
focus groups to distribute more coordinated support. This loops back into
‘Prevention’, and if needed, helps initiate the process of treatment. We have
created our own conversation log feature where teachers can track what’s been
said and who’s spoken to each student. In this way schools can track positive
conversations and outcomes. A alert For individuals with more
worrying, persistent trends, or who require urgent attention, teachers can
quickly and securely register safeguarding concerns via our in-app
integration with the UKs leading safeguarding specialists, CPOMS and
MYCONCERN, or initiate an immediate conversation with the nominated pastoral

Curenetics |
Project title: Ethical
considerations for the development of an AI-driven clinical decision support
tool Project description: Curenetics is a med-tech, deep-tech company involved in the
development of novel AI-tools used for predicting patients response to cancer
treatment. Our main focus is on a relatively new class of cancer treatment
called Immunotherapy. Immunotherapy is increasingly used in the treatment of
various cancers. While this class of treatment has been shown to be
effective, only about 20-30% of patients achieve a sustained response to
treatment. Unfortunately, these drugs are quite expensive (about Ł80-90k per
year, per patient) and it could also potentially cause, life threatening side
effects of toxicities. We propose an AI-driven tool which can predict whether a patient will
respond to immunotherapy before they commence treatment. In doing so, we
avoid ineffective treatments, reduce time to right choice of treatment,
reduce healthcare costs and save lives. Project objectives and potential outcomes: While this AI tool will ultimately predict or identify patients who
will benefit from immunotherapy, a substantial number of patients, will be
deemed unsuitable for this treatment and hence turned away due to perceived
or proven lack of response (based on testing and validation on large amounts
of clinical data). Some of these patients might have no other treatment
options and hence be disappointed as a result of the “predictive accuracy” of
this AI tool. Currently, all patients are offered this treatment but only
about 20% respond. Objectives · To assess the ethical implications of making
such predictions or decisions especially in a life-threatening disease such
as cancer. · To assess what threshold of predictive accuracy of the AI model
will be deemed sufficient, for this tool be fair and ethically justifiable. · A strong argument to justify the use of this tool especially if
its preventing substantial number of patients from the development side
effects from a drug that might potentially not work for them. · How do we minimise bias (due to age of the patient, gender,
race, geographical location, socio economic status etc) when developing and
providing this tool in a real clinical environment. · Any other ethical issues to be considered and addressed in an
AI-driven clinical decision support tool. |

Project Brief: - Fashion design The objective is to design a
jacket, probably with particular regard to the shoulders, which we can
potentially patent but definitely register the design. This design could then
be incorporated into a number of jacket styles like tailcoats or conductors’
jackets for both men and women. I am already gathering a list of interested
clients and the aim is to produce this jacket for sale globally at a reasonable
price. Fabric chosen is also very
important. |It needs to be light and breathable and possibly washable, but we
understand that would be difficult, particularly with tailoring. We would
like to keep this project within the circular economy. |

SwimAR Ltd |
SwimAR is a revolution in
swim training enabling real-time feed-back using an innovative holographic
display attached to your existing goggles. SwimAR has created a
proof of concept prototype and wishes to make further product improvements.
Innovation areas include miniaturization of the electronics package,
attachment development for any goggle type and development of a GPS enabled
way-finding interface. The current proof of
concept rig has been tested & was well received by elite swimmers &
coaches, but is cumbersome to use and does not reflect the ease of use needed
for a wearable sports tech. The proof of concept rig
uses Sony LMX-001 holographic display with Raspberry Pi prototyping board to
display a timer. The electronics & battery were incorporated in a
separate puck to the display module. The puck was mounted on the back of the
swimmers head with a cable to the goggle mounted display. This system was
used for initial pool trials. A separate GPS way finder has also been tested
outside the pool. This programme will
enable the amalgamation of these elements into the optimised &
miniaturised goggle mounted SwimAR. Further functional elements will include
a method for displaying route finding in open water swimming, lap counting
(either tumble-turn or touch-turn) in pool, and average speed measurement Ideally this will attract
a multi discipline team / student with Product Design Engineering,
Electronics Engineering & Software Engineering. |
SwimAR a revolution
in swim training enabling real-time performance feed-back using innovative
holographic displays attached to your existing goggles. This addresses a
significant gap in the swim market for real time training systems when
compared with other sports like running and cycling. Waterproof swim watches do
not satisfy this. |

The Energy Bill Crystal Ball We want to create a tool that helps users understand how their
energy bill is going to look like in the coming 5-10 years under different
scenarios. The tool is a data product (definition to be discussed) showing a
very simple frontend fuelled by a very clever set of algorithms in the
backend crunching datasets on energy consumption, energy costs, and any other
input we may find relevant. It is intended to be as generic as possible, so
that it can be tested with B2C (e.g. residential end-users) and B2B (e.g.
housing associations, commercial property owners and managers, etc.) The user
input should be a minimal set of parameters defining a building (location,
type, size, energy cost, etc.) and - when available - half-hourly datasets of
energy consumption. The output should be quick and simple, giving the idea of
what the future energy cost and consumption could look like, by means of a
very limited set of numbers and charts. Goals of this tool are: To understand what is the minimal set of parameters needed to
run an analysis and generate a meaningful engagement with end users To
demonstrate user traction via a simple online tool that can be used as
initial funnel for other commercial propositions To collect data that
would give a “compare the market” point of view to be potentially used for
insights on energy services to be provided to end-users. |

The Synaesthesia Meditation App |
The App place on the market: The Synaesthesia Meditation App is an application for phones and
mobile devices, designed for people that are interested in quick and
efficient ways of gaining a positive mindset, deeper focus, full relaxation
and more. What separates this App from any similar products already on the
market is that it combines audio guided meditations with additional visual
and auditory layers inspired by the condition of synaesthesia. |
The Synaesthesia App is a meditation app which incorporates audio and
visual synaesthesia into the guided meditations to create a deeper level of
engagement with its content and therefore generate a better state of
relaxation and focus. Synaesthesia is a neurological condition that causes a mixing of the
senses, therefore generating cross-modal experiences such as coloured sounds,
tasting shapes, etc. The Synaesthesia Meditation app uses sound, visual design, sensory
guided and non-guided meditation to provide short but important moments of
mindfulness within a busy day’s routine. Why bring together synaesthesia and meditation? Firstly, looking at the current
meditation app market there is an evident lack of options that take into
consideration a neurodiverse perspective. We believe by changing perspective
we may be able to reach and connect with people that do not usually engage
with this type of app because of perceptual barriers. Secondly – and recently confirmed by research papers – synaesthesia as
a phenomenon that draws attention to your senses can help individuals achieve
an interoceptive awareness state in a shorter amount of time, meaning that we
might be able to reach also those people that do not usually engage with
meditation apps because they don’t feel they have enough time to dedicate to
this type of practice. Finally, using different senses as part of our meditation app can
result in a more active engagement with the content. |

Vital Hospitality Ltd Importer and supplier of innovative products & services for the
hospitality sector |
Company manufactures custom (made-to-fit) stainless steel liners for
sinks in commercial kitchens. The insert is called SinkLiner. The SinkLiner
allows liquid to drain, but prevents food waste from entering the drainage
system. Each unit is custom made, based on the dimensions of the clients sink.
Measuring is currently done manually using a measuring tape, from which the
dimensions for the steel insert to be fabricated, are produced. We are trying to find an easier, more accurate
and user friendly (and ideally digital) means of measuring (the required
dimensions of the sink) so customers could provide measurements themselves,
negating the need for a site visit and allowing us to scale production. |
Our company has developed a custom-made, removable, stainless steel
insert which fits in the sink of customers. To ensure the sink can still be
fully utilised by the client, the insert is designed to be as large as
possible, while still fitting snugly inside the sink, by following the
contours of the straight edges of the sink Sink sizes vary significantly from one to the next, and are
rectangular in shape with curved corners. In order to negate the need to measure and replicate the 4 rounded
corners of customer sinks, our design is octagonal in shape, essentially
cutting out the rounded corners. The SinkIner has a perforated bottom (2mm holes) which allows water to
drain out, while keeping food and other waste inside, which can then be
thrown away in the dustbin after shifts. Measuring: In order to fabricate the SinkLiner, we currently measure the
following dimensions: Total Length = Distance between the centre of the left & right
edge of the sink |

Risk Free Pregnancy (RFP) |
Project Description Aim: To create an interactive smartphone App We are creating a product to accurately identify patients
at risk of medical complications during pregnancy. The product will combine
the most common physical and mental complications in pregnancy. Women will
need to answer specific questions about their personal medical background to
obtain not just the risk of suffering these complications but a preventative
treatment/management plan as well as an accurate specialist referral
according to their risk factors. This will be delivered initially, through a
smartphone APP, which will incorporate available data included in national
and international pregnancy guidelines and relevant high-quality studies. The aim is to reduce the risk of having gestational complications by
providing a pre-pregnancy plan including: ●
Covering the 10 most common
pregnancy complications ●
Preventative tailored
treatment/management plan according to their risk factors ●
An accurate specialist referral
plan. The objectives therefore, of the App to be created are: Inform,
engage, raise awareness of these risks for women who are either planning to
get pregnant, or are already pregnant. |
Risk Free Pregnancy (RFP) was founded in September 2021 to provide
online advice services and prevention tools to reduce medical complications
for women during pregnancy. The founder and CEO of the company, Dr Candido
Munoz, is currently an Internal Medicine Physician who is doing his PhD with
the University College London and working as a locum with Royal Free
Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He specialises in medical complications
during pregnancy with a specific focus on prevention by developing
pre-pregnancy tailored plans. |

The Wellbeing Designer |
Toy/device to ease children’s anxiety whilst avoiding the use of
mobiles or tablets. The pandemic has strengthened the awareness of life balance and
well-being, it has been evident to parents about how much children can be
affected by life circumstances. Many children suffer from anxiety due to life
changes, like from not being able to be physically close to one or both of
their parents or carers. The purpose is to bring closeness to the child by
having the voice of the other parent or parents recorded so they can hear the
parent’s or carer’s voice. This approach will contribute to helping them wind
down and lower levels of anxiety and sleep better. Also, children who suffer
from any level of anxiety or fear of darkness, monsters or being alone, are
very common among young children between the ages of 4 years to 11. |
