Animation: Camera Camera Movement - Tracking and Dollying

• A dolly is a wheeled platform on which a camera can be mounted. In Max the dolly command moves the camera closer to or further away from the subject without changing the lens length.

• In film making, a dolly is sometimes mounted on a track. A truck thus refers to movement of the camera along a single axis either horizontal or vertical.
