Animation: Lighting Controls Hotspot and Falloff
- Spotlight and directional lights have controls that enable you to define the concentration of light in the beam that they project. This is represented by two cones that show how wide the hotspot and the spotlight cones are set. The hotspot defines inner portion of the beam of light and the spotlight defines the outer portion.
- When hotspot and falloff setting are close the beam appears focussed whereas when they are apart the beam appears diffuse.
