Animation: Material Properties Self-Illumination

• Self-illumination adjusts how much an object appears to be lit from within. As the % of self-illumination increases, it flattens out the effects of the ambient and diffuse lighting sources until the object appears to be one solid value. Self illumination is used is objects where you have a bright light source such as car lights. By making lights self illuminated, they appear brighter and more realistic.
