Animation: Creating Materials Manipulating Previews
- Six material preview windows
- Each window has a default name
- Material Editor Preview Window Controls
- Sample Type - selects the type of geometry in window
- Backlight - enables/disables backlighting
- Background - set to grey or coloured checkerboard
- Sample UV Tiling - sets the number of times the sample bitmap is repeated over the surface of the object
- Video Color Check - relies on the rendering preferences to determine which format to use
- Make Preview - for quick preview of materials
- Options- enables you to configure therest of the material editor options
- Select by Material- select one or more objects in scene that have the current material assigned to them
