Animation: Creating Materials Shader Rollout
- When you create a new standard material, the shader rollout appears by default. This enables you to change the basic properties of the material.
- You can select the shading level of the material (choice of 7): Ansiotropic, Blinn, Metal, Multilayer, Open-Nayer Blinn, Phong and Strauss. (see Assigning Materials)
- There are four check boxes for setting rendering parameters of the material:
- 2-Sided forces both sides of the material to be rendered
- Wire forces the material to be wirefame
- Face Map forces the texture map to be copied onto one face
- Faceted forces the object to be rendered with using any smoothing
