Since 2019, he has been a Research Fellow in System Engineering Research Group, Brunel University London.
His research interests include defect detection, fault diagnosis, information fusion and robust control.
Hang Geng currently works on Horizon 2020 IQONIC Project which focuses on offering a scalable zero-defect manufacturing platform covering the overall process chain of optoelectrical parts.
Received the Ph.D. degree in Control Science and Engineering
from Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi’an, China, in 2017.
From 2015 to 2016, he was a Visiting Student with Department of Information Systems and Computing, Brunel University, London, U.K.
From 2017 to 2018, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow with School of Automation Engineering, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu, China.
From 2018 to 2019, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow with Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Kansas, U. S. A.
