Summary

Elaine de Vos joined Brunel in October 2019 as a Doctoral Researcher in the College of Health and Life Sciences, after previously completing her MA at Birmingham City University.  Her current research is supervised by Prof. Louise Mansfield and uses an ethnographic approach to understand the lived experiences of female boxers, focusing on their health and wellbeing experiences. Her research interests include how race, gender and class affect identity formation and negotiation.
