Animation: Lathing & Extruding Introduction
- Extruding a spline makes an exact copy of the spline a certain distance away from the original and then creates a surface between the two.
- Lathing a spline rotates the spline about a point in space, usually the centre, left or right edge of the spline. As the spline is rotated, a surface is generated to create the 3D object.
