Strategic Collaborations to Take Your Business Forward

Brunel Hive Co-Create is about collaboration. We enable and facilitate partnership between high-growth businesses and academic experts. Co-Create hackathons enable businesses, academic experts and students to solve practical business challenges for the benefit of all three.

By working together to define and deliver effective solutions to business challenges, Brunel Business School researchers and students extend their knowledge of local and international businesses, whist companies benefit from research-led approaches to their strategic and operational challenges. The aim of our Co-Creation Series is threefold: deliver a specific, well-defined business solution; bring practical perspectives to our academic research; and provide hands-on learning experiences for our highly-motivated students. We deliver up to three Co-Create hackathons during the academic year, in two main formats – an intensive one-day workshop, or a 2-day weekend session. The Co-Create Series provide opportunities for developing new models for academic research commercialisation, business growth research, and knowledge creation partnerships.

Co-Create also enables Brunel Business School to deliver customised Knowledge Exchange projects with small businesses across London. Through our association with West London Business, we plan to undertake several small business development projects over the next three years. For instance, our MBA students, closely supervised by their academic advisors, will deliver action-research growth projects for members of West London Business.

Collaborating with Brunel Hive Co-Create is straightforward. Our team will work with you to fully understand your specific business challenges, and plan a hackathon or longer-term project. Once all collaborators are assembled and project details are finalised, we will agree a delivery timetable. We look forward to working closely with you to take your business forward.
