Post-Award Section
The Post-Award Section of RSDO provides Principal Investigators with a holistic and pro-active approach to grant management at Brunel to successfully deliver externally funded research, innovation and strategic doctoral research funding programmes. We work closely professional service colleagues in colleges and core professional services, as well as funders, to connect PIs with specialist knowledge and guidance on all aspects of post-award project management.
We do this by providing a responsive service to PIs through set-up, review and closure meetings facilitating the successful resolution of issues that affect research delivery. By applying a risk management approach to our work we aim to identify issues early and provide assurance to the University and funders of our compliance with policies as well as terms and conditions.
Some of what the Post-Award section does is listed below:
- Managing project set-up, review and closure for all grants with a funder-focussed team
- Working with the College Research Offices who support day-to-day activity
- Ensuring award compliance with funder and Brunel policies; supporting ResearchFish submission.
