Hannah Lowe, a Lecturer in Creative Writing at Brunel, published her first memoir, Long Time no see, in 2015. Her poetry book Chick (2013) won the Michael Murphy Memorial Award for Best First Collection and in 2014 she was selected as one of 20 Next Generation poets.
Lara Pawson's latest book This is the Place to Be (2016) began as a sound installation, but was expanded to become a fragmentary memoir. It was nominated for the Bread and Roses Award, PEN Ackerley Prize and Gordon Burn Prize.
There will also be student readings from Steve Powdrill & Marina Cicionesi Jansson on the night.
